Today, we are happy to share with you the next update to Visual Studio for Mac 2017. Version 7.7 incorporates much of your great feedback and is aimed at improving the core development experience for every project type from.NET Core to Xamarin and Unity. I found this link, which describes how to create a generic.dmg that you can then customize. It's built using a makefile. It's built using a makefile. After much tinkering and tuning, I got that set up, and added a custom post-build step in my Xamarin Studio project to run the makefile.

To start developing native, cross-platform .NET apps on macOS, install Visual Studio 2019 for Mac following the steps below.
